Yerba Mate

Loose-leaf yerba mate: a traditional South American drink made from the dried, chopped leaves and stems of the yerba mate plant. It has an earthy, grassy, slightly bitter flavour, and is traditionally sipped from a gourd through a bombilla, a metal straw with a built-in filter.

Matcha

Matcha is finely ground powdered green tea. You whisk the powder into hot water rather than steeping leaves, so you drink the whole leaf. It has a fresh, grassy flavour with a gentle sweetness and a smooth texture when whisked well.

Everything needed to prepare matcha the traditional way: a ceramic matcha bowl, a bamboo whisk (chasen), a bamboo scoop (chashaku) and matcha. Final contents, sizes and finishes are still being confirmed.
